 Omega 3 for dogs and cats work in the skin to aid the body’s own natural anti- inflammatory processes. EPA and DHA are the precursors for newly discovered lipids called Resolvins and Protectins, which support the natural systems that control inflammation.

The positive effect of omega-3 fatty acids on dogs suffering from the harmful effects of allergies, atopy, pruritus and flea allergies have also been extensively researched during the last several decades. These studies have shown that adding omega-3 fatty acids to a dog’s & cat;s diet has an alleviating effect on their over-reactive immune systems. This leads to reduced itchiness and substantial improvements of their skin health and coat character.

 Omega-6 fatty acids are involved  in cell  membrane    structure and  cell function. They are required for normal reproduction, growth, immune function, and skin and coat health. Omega-6 fatty acids are a type of fat and, thus  contribute calories.

 Omega-9 helps fight bad cholesterol and increases good cholesterol. This in turn is good for heart health, as the chances of a dog developing circulation problems or other types of heart disease are lessened.

 Biotin plays a large role in maintaining healthy skin and hair, as well as playing an important role in growth, digestion, muscle formation and in enabling the body to use glucose as an energy source. D-biotin synthesises fatty acids and is important for maintaining healthy skin, coat and nails

 Zinc is known to support wound healing. With its antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties, it enhances skin repair function and reduces redness and inflammation. It helps to relieve eczema, rritation, dermatitis, itchy and dry skin

Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6  & Niacinamide is having the added advantage for skin and   coat nourishment.
