Benefits Of Ingredients
- Glucosamine Hydrochloride : Needed for the synthesis of hyaluronic acid and glycosaminoglycans that make up the synovial fluid and to manufacture of collagen, that makes up cartilage. Along with chondroitin sulphate, it helps in reducing the pain and inflammation related with arthritis.
- Methly Sulphonyl Methane (MSM) :It is a sulphur containing compound. It works in conjunction with glucosamine in the production of collagen. MSM acts as an antioxidant and increases blood circulation. It helps to reduce scar tissue and inflammation and may be an effective pain reliever. MSM helps in the permeability of the membrane, regulates the body’s use of glucose for energy, boosts immunity keeps skin, hair, teeth and nails healthy.
- Boswellia serrata :Helps regulate the immune response, supports structural strength and function of joints, provides antioxidant support, and supports the regulation of destructive mediators such as inflammatory prostaglandins, enzymes and free radicals.
- Withania somnifera :Acts as a rejuvenator to the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and works synergistically with Boswellia serrata to reduce inflammation and thus provide pain relief.
- Chondroitin sulphate :Chondroitin is one of the major glucosaminoglycans. It prevents the action of degenerative enzymes that promote the breakdown of cartilage. It makes up the matrix of the cartilage and is responsible for strength, flexibility and shock absorption.
- Vitamin C :It is a water-soluble vitamin. It stimulates the osteoblasts thereby enhancing bone formation. It is vital for synthesis of collagen, which forms a component of cartilage, tendons, etc. Acts as an antioxidant, attacking free radicals in cellular fluids formed due to cell metabolism. May help in age related as well as diabetic cataract. Helps boost immunity.
- Manganese :It is a trace element and a micronutrient needed to produce energy, metabolize protein and carbohydrates and to make fatty acids. Manganese is an important part of many enzymes and plays a role in the health and maintenance of bone and cartilage in joints.
- Collagen Peptide:It is the hydrolysed form of collagen and contains most of the essential amino acids. It has a regenerative and preventive effect on bones, cartilage, tendons, etc
- Tumeric/Curcumin (Curcuma longa) : Curcumin is the chemical in turmeric that can reduce joint pain and swelling by blocking inflammatory cytokines and enzymes. A 2010 clinical trial using a turmeric supplement showed long-term improvement in pain and function in patients with knee OA. A small 2012 study using a curcumin, showed more reduced joint pain and swelling in patients with active RA when compared to diclofenac sodium.
- Rosehip Extract : It is rich in polyphenolic compounds such as proanthocyanidins and flavonoids which are thought to help relievejoint inflammation and reduce joint damage. The high phenolic and flavonoid content of rosehips has been observed to correlate with antioxidant activity and when rosehip extract containing these phenolics is deprived of vitamin C it still shows considerable antioxidant activity. This activity includes protective effects against oxidative stress, enhanced activity of antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase and catalase, and protective effects on gap junction intercellular communication.
